Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is now being compared to brother of Asaduddin Owaisi by none other than fire-breathing member of parliament, Dr Subramanian Swamy.
“He sounds like Owaisi’s brother in another context,” remarked Swamy after Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a public gathering at Anaj Mandi in Haryana, had claimed that “Congress would have evicted and thrown out China and it would not have taken 15 minutes to do so.”
Dr Swamy’s reference was to Akbaruddin Owaisi’s infamous “Give us 15 minutes” communal threat in the wake of anti-CAA protests. He had implied that if Muslims in the country could get 15 minutes they would be “bhaari” (suppress) on 100 crore Hindus.
Asaduddin Owaisi, president of All India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), and his brother are seen as rabble-rousers in making communal speeches.
