Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday trained guns at the Opposition leaders and singled out the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) over its “mismanagement” of the state’s ration.
While addressing a rally in Sultanpur, Yogi Adityanath said, “The results of the last four phases of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections will be declared on March 10 and all Opposition leaders have booked tickets to leave the state on March 11.”
Attacking the Mayawati-led BSP, he said, “BSP elephant’s stomach is so big that the whole state’s ration was consumed by them.”
Earlier in the day, Yogi Adityanath visited the under-construction Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief J P Nadda had also earlier visited the temple site in Ayodhya. He had taken stock of the construction works of the Ram temple.
The seven-phase UP Assembly polls are underway in the state and the fifth phase, which is scheduled on February 27, will majorly cover the eastern region, including Ayodhya, Rae Bareli, and Amethi districts.
Adityanath is contesting the Assembly elections from the Gorakhpur Urban seat.
Ahead of the fifth phase of polling for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, CM Yogi Adityanath yesterday took a dig at the Samajwadi Party alleging that the party propagates riots.
“Decide what kind of government you want, one that propagates riots or the one that frees you from them and works for the welfare of poor people”, said Adityanath while addressing a rally in Barabanki.
