Young star Rishabh Pant “baby-sitting”? Well, that’s what he did with his captain Rohit Sharma’s daughter Samaira and put it on his Instagram post. This apparently is from Bengaluru, where India is taking on Sri Lanka in the second Test match on Saturday.
Pant indeed earned the nickname of “babysitter” for the first time during India’s tour of Australia in 2018-19 when he babysit the then Australian skipper Tim Paine’s baby.
Pant is seen endorsing the picture that Samaira had drawn in his instagram post.
Pant himself has been in brilliant form this series. He scored a 96 in the first Test against Sri Lanka before being dismissed just 4 runs shy of his century. The 24-year-old produced some cracking strokes before being sent packing. He would be keen to make amends in the second and final Test of the series.
