Guess what! Indian business tycoons Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani are richer than Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg on Forbes’ list of billionaires.
It so happened that Zuckerberg’s net worth plunged by USD 30 billion due to record-breaking collapse in Meta shares due to unprecedented stock market selloff on Thursday.
As per Forbes, Adani’s net worth is $90.1 billion whereas Ambani’s is $90 billion.
Zuckerberg, with $84.8 billion is now in 12th place.
Adani is now world’s 10th richest person, and no less the richest man in Asia.
According to Oxfam Davos 2022 report, India added 40 billionaires to its list of 142 in 2021, with a total fortune of about $720 billion, more than the poorest 40% of the population.
