Amitabh decodes Connery’s death date and finds a strange coincidence

Bond, James Bond. The man who had immortalised these words on the screen, Sir Sean Connery, had passed into eternity on Saturday. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan analysed the death in a peculiar manner after spelling out the day as 31.10.20.

Paying tributes to the Hollywood star, Amitabh said 3+1+1+2=7 and two zeroes are left. By rearranging the digits, we get 007, the legend started by Ian Fleming and Connery in 1962.

Several other celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Anupam Kher, Priyanka Chopra and Shatrughan Sinha termed late Sir Connery as “best ever Bond”, “the greatest icon” and “the legend”. In her Tweet, Lata said: The perfect Bond who enthralled the audiences and stood tall as one of the most charismatic personalities in the entertainment industry. Such legends come rare.

Anupam Kher in his #RIPSeanConnery Tweet said: Dear #SeanConnery! I feel incomplete today!! Your fan, James Bond. In most of the Tweets, some pictures of the late actor had been used by those paying their tributes.

Incidentally, Amitabh had co-starred with Connery in “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”. Sir Connery had featured in some movies which were in total contrast to his Bond series movies. One such movie was “The Name of The Rose: Did Christ Laugh” released in 1986.
