A few days ago, the former chief minister of her state called her “item.” And he didn’t apologize. Now the lady in question has decided to give back to the man in the same coin.
“Luchha, lafanga,..drunkard” is how Imarti Devi, a BJP minister in the present state cabinet has chosen to address Kamal Nath, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior Congress leader.
“If a former chief minister can use such a language, I can also say things. To use such a language, Kamal Nath is a luchha, lafanga. He is behaving like drunkards,” the BJP leader said at a rally ahead of state bypolls.
Kamal Nath, in a rally, had referred to her as “item” earlier on October 18.
Imarti Devi filed her nomination from Dabra constituency on October 15 for the upcoming by-elections to the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
“Wo kya hai… main uska naam kyun lun… aapko mujhe satark karna chahiye tha… kya item hai… (Who is she… What’s her name? You all should have warned me… what an item!),” Kamal Nath had said.
Devi said that she will ensure Kamal Nath apologises for his derogatory remarks.
