Another BJP worker found hanging on tree in West Bengal

A dead body of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, Anil Barman, was found hanging on a tree in the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal. The BJP has allegedly accused Trinamool Congress workers of murdering its party worker.

Anil had been missing since Saturday night, and his body was spotted by the local residents in a garden on Sunday, says a report

BJP MLA Malati Rava Roy, while accusing the TMC goons for increasing violence in the state, said, “He had been on the hit-list of the Trinamool for a very long time and, especially since the Assembly polls. He was being pressurised to join the Trinamool. He refused and they killed him for it. The police administration has turned into a front for the Trinamool,”

The party informed that Anil Barman was on the hit-list of the TMC as their goons also vandalised his house earlier.

TV9 Journalist Anindya Banerjee took to his Twitter and shared the image.

Meanwhile, TMC has denied the charges. Partha Pratim Roy, Trinamool’s district president for Cooch Behar, said, “Let the police conduct an investigation and find out the truth. We have nothing to do with the incident.”
