Biden’s rating has fallen to lowest after Afghanistan horror

The United States President Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen to the lowest point in his presidency, sliding below 50% for the first time as he’s been criticized for his administration’s handling of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

According to USA Today, His overall job approval rating now stands at 41% who approve versus 55% who disapprove – a big drop. Up until last week, most polls showed the President’s approval ratings above 50 percent.

Biden has been facing massive backlash for carrying out a bungled pullout from the strife-torn country.

David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk Political Research Center, said “Today, President Biden’s overall approval has taken a turn for the worse due to his awful job performance rating on Afghanistan.”

The poll found that 53 percent of Americans backed the decision to leave Afghanistan after 20 years of war, but 62 percent disapproved of the way the Biden administration has handled the evacuation of allies in Afghanistan.

The poll also indicated that a huge percentage of 73 percent of Americans believe that Afghanistan will once again become a haven for terror groups that want to attack the US or its allies.
