Jaya Bachchan gets some serious words from indomitable Kangana Ranaut

Veteran Bollywood actress, Jaya Bachchan, and MP of Samajwadi Party lashed out at all the Bollywood haters who have been calling the Mumbai-based film industry a "gutter" in her Parliament speech on Tuesday.

Kangana Ranaut replied to Bachhan On Twitter and wrote, “Jaya ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenage, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also.”

Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut shared an incident in another tweet about a "famous choreographer" who is accused to have said, “Rape kiya toh kya hua, roti toh di na (so what if you’re violated, at least you got paid)” and asked the Veteran actress if it was that she was trying to imply.

Ranaut also mentioned, “There are no proper HR departments in production houses where women can complain, no safety or insurances for those who risk their lives every day, no 8 hours shift regulations."

Kangana Ranaut also highlighted the fact that the mentality like “gareeb ko roti mila toh that’s enough” needs to be changed.

She also added, “Gareeb ko roti ke saath samman aur payaar bhi chahiye, I have a full list of reforms I want from centre government for workers and junior artists, some day if I meet honourable Prime Minister I will discuss.”

In her speech in Parliament on Tuesday, Jaya Bachchan tried to seek the support of the government for the Mumbai-based entertainment industry, Bollywood. Her remarks came after the Kangana Ranaut's recent comment in which she called the Bollywood industry, a "gutter" and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan & Gorakhpur's BJP MP's statement that 'there was a problem of drug addiction in the film industry

“At a time when the situation is depressing and employment is at its worst level, in order to divert people's attention, we are being flogged by social media,” said Jaya Bachchan in the Rajya Sabha.

She also added, "the people who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I really dissociate myself and I hope that the government tells these people who have made their earning and name and fame in the industry to stop using such language."

Jaya Bachchan is a veteran Bollywood actor and is the wife of Amitabh Bachchan, famous Bollywood actor.

Jaya Bachchan spoke about Ravi Kishan indirectly in her statement and said, "I was really embarrassed and ashamed as a Lok Sabha MP spoke against industry…Jis thaali me khate hain, usi me ched karte hain.
