Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee filed a defamation complaint against actor Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) in an Indore court for posting an alleged derogatory tweet against him on Tuesday.
Manoj Bajpayee’s lawyer Paresh S Joshi said in a press release that he urged the court to register a criminal defamation case in the matter. Joshi said that the actor himself appeared before the court to give his statement.
For unheard, KRK had called Manoj Bajpayee ‘Ganjedi’ (a marijuana addict), and also urged his fans to not watch web series.
“Jaisi Jis Insaan Ki soch Hoti hai, Waisa Hi Woh Kaam Karta Hai. So Manoj doesn’t have problem for such soft p*rn. So he wants public to learn such things only! Lanat hai Iski life Par. Raj Kundra and Manoj are same to same,” KRK had made another tweet slamming Bajpayee.
For these objectionable tweets, the complaint has been filed under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation).
A couple of months ago, Salman Khan had also filed a defamation case against KRK for his alleged derogatory tweets. That was after the premiere of Salman Khan’s film Radhe.
