Mumbai Police now arrest Republic’s assistant vice-president on alleged TRP scam

Mumbai police arrested Assistant Vice President of Republic Media Network, Ghanshyam Singh today morning from his residence in connection with the alleged TRP rigging scam.

As per Republic TV, Ghanshyam heads the western region distribution of the network. He has been questioned several times–for over 30-40 hours– by the Crime Branch unit.

Republic Media Network’s editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami has also been arrested by Mumbai Police in a case that was closed in 2019 and then ‘reopened’ by the Maharashtra Police.
