No new hospital or flyover by Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP between 2015-2019

Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) neither commissioned any hospital nor built any flyover between 2015-2019, is the revelation of a RTI, filed by one Tejpal Singh.

AAP, in its 2015 assembly election manifesto, had promised to increase total bed strength in Delhi hospitals to 40,000. He had further claimed the strength would be double in the first two years. He had also claimed that his government has built 23 flyovers. This he did when he inaugurated the 2.85km signal-free new RTR flyover.

In the 2019-20 budget, the Delhi government had allocated Rs 7,485 crore for medical and public health.

Arvind Kejriwal had also promised 1,000 Mohalla clinics. But as per a report in January 2019, only 189 clinics were opened.
