A new twist came in the ongoing war of words between the governor of West Bengal and MP of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) when Kalyan Banerjee, MP of TMC called Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, "Sweeper of BJP."
While lashing out at Jagdeep Dhankhar, Banerjee accused him of using the Governor's house as a shelter to BJP's 'anti-social.' Governor's anti-West Bengal Government tweets were questioned by TMC MP. In a series of tweets, Banerjee attacked Dhankar and called him the most 'incompetent', 'intolerable' person holding the constitutional post. And also called Governor 'the number one puppet.'
Banerjee has challenged the Governor to impose Article 356 in his region by tomorrow via a tweet. As per Article 356, the machinery of the state comes in direct control of the Central government if the state government is found incapable of following constitutional provisions.
While slamming the CM of West Bengal for 'shedding crocodile tears, Jagdeep Dhankar wrote on twitter on September 22, "Why to deny that @MamataOfficial benefit Rs 8,400 crores to 70 lac WB farmers. By failure to participate in PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi ! So far every farmer has lost Rs. 12,000/- that would have come to his bank account. Urge CM - Crocodile Tears will not relieve the pain of farmers."
Dhankar showed his displeasure to Mamata Banerjee via his tweets and a two paged letter.
