BJP office in West Bengal set ablaze; party blames TMC





First a BJP leader was beaten to death in the Tufanganj area of the Cooch Behar district in West Bengal. Then the BJP office in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas was set ablaze. The BJP has blame the ruling Trinamool Congress government for the violence.

Visuals of Thursday’s incident showed the damaged BJP office in Babanpur area of Mohanpur Gram Panchayat.

The BJP called for a 12-hour band in Tufanganj on Thursday.

So far 12 political workers at least have been killed in the state. Bharatiya Janata Party Youth Morcha president Tejasvi Surya revealed during the Nabbana rally last month that over 120 BJP workers have been killed under the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government.
