Centre’s plan for the distribution of potential Covid-19 vaccine is ready, claimed SS Deswal, director-general of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Deswal also said that the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) would play a major role in its administration and distribution, as per a report in the Economic Times.
Deswal, during an interview, said that ITBP is prepared in the mega vaccination drive as it has been helping in treatment of patients for past few months.
The CAPFs have a combined size of over 10 lakh personnel. Of these, ITBP has as many as 90,000 personnel.
