Congress could hold elections for its party chief in April next year, according to Republic Media network.
The report further states that Rahul Gandhi is unwilling the contest the elections. Meanwhile the name of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is floating in the air though many top leaders of the party are not in favour.
Meanwhile, it is claimed that 23 Congress leaders who had recently written a letter to Sonia Gandhi to revive the party want the next president to be not from the Gandhi-Vadra family.
