Congress was involved with Navneet Kalra, claims Meenakshi Lekhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party MP Meenakshi Lekhi has trained her guns at the Congress party and accused the latter for allegedly being involved with the businessman Navneet Kalra, who is embroiled in a “hoarding” and “black-marketing” of Oxygen concentrators case presently.

The BJP MP lashed out at Congress for complaining that Oxygen shortage in the state is due to Centre’s mismanagement when “black marketers” like Navneet Kalra have actually created the artificial shortage in the market.

She also claimed how back in 2005-06, Congress leader Ajay Maken, when he was Union Urban Development Minister of Delhi, had nominated Kalra to the Delhi Golf Club.

She also called out Congress senior leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi for defending Kalra in Delhi High Court.

It is pertinent to note that Singhvi while defending Kalra has argued that he is an importer nor a manufacturer he’s “merely a person who runs some restaurants”

However, the court cross-questioned the Congress leader that if he’s a common businessman then under what capacity he was holding so many oxygen concentrators?

On May 6 and 7, Delhi Police conducted a raid and recovered over 500 oxygen concentrators from three restaurants owned by Navneet Kalra.
