Veteran actor Dharmendra, who was hospitalised for a few days, returned home on Sunday. The cinema veteran took to social media yesterday to share an update about his health. And now, his wife and actress-politician Hema Malini has taken to Twitter to talk about the veteran actor’s health.
In her tweet, Hema Malini thanked thousands of well-wishers for checking about Dharmendra’s health. She added that while Dharmendra was hospitalised for a few days, he is back home now. She also expressed her gratitude towards all those who enquired about his health.
“I would like to thank thousands of well-wishers who have been enquiring about Dharam ji’s health. Yes, he was in hospital for a few days but he is ok now and thankfully back home. Thank you all once again for your anxious calls and enquiries about his health,” she wrote, adding, “God has been kind.”
Earlier, a source close to the Deol family had said that the veteran actor was hospitalised for a routine check-up. Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital a few days ago.
On Sunday, Dharmendra had taken to social media to share a video message for his fans. In the video shared on Twitter, Dharmendra also revealed that he suffered a “big muscle pull in the back”. He assured fans that he is fit and fine, and also asked his friends to not worry. Furthermore, he assured them that he will be careful hereon.
“Friends, don’t do anything over. I did it and suffered a big muscle pull at the back. So I had to go to the hospital for two-four days. It was difficult. Anyway I’m back with your good wishes, his blessings. So don’t worry. Now I’ll be very careful. Love you all,” he said in the video.
