The clue to the killers of Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shared with Delhi Police by girlfriend of one of the gangsters.
Sources suggest that a girlfriend of gangster Priyavrat became an informer of Delhi Police and shared vital inputs with the cops in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. For security reasons, police have not identified the girlfriend of the shooter Priyavrat.
It is said his girlfriend became the reason for his arrest. Priyavrat reportedly had three girlfriends and that proved costly to Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Initially, it became tough for the police to nab Moose Wala shooters despite police approaching them closely.
Police sources said Priyavrat had three girlfriends. One of the woman became aware of the other two girlfriends of Priyavrat and this thing upset her.
Sources said the Special Cell of Delhi Police had put the woman’s phone on survelliance from where police got information about Priyavrat and led to his arrest.
On Monday, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested two main shooters and their one facilitator.
The two arrested accused were identified as Priyavrat alias Fauji (26) from Sonipat in Haryana and Kashish alias Kuldeep (24).
“Of the two shooters, one is the head of the module,” a senior Delhi Police official said.
The third arrested accused is identified as Keshav Kumar (29), a resident of Bhatinda, Punjab. Keshav acted as a facilitator and received the shooters just after the shootout in an Alto car.
According to Delhi Police officer, accused Priyavrat, who was the head of ‘Bolero Module’ of the gangsters, led the team of shooters. He was in direct touch with Goldy Brar at the time of the incident.
