More than 2,500 vaccine doses found in dustbins in Rajasthan





More than 2,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were found in dustbins in Rajasthan, Hindi newspaper Dainik Bhaskar has reported in its investigations. 

These doses were in dustbins in 35 vaccination centres in eight districts, as per the Organiser, quoting the newspaper. 

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot has been complaining of non-availability of vaccines and blaming the Union government for it. 

The state has wasted more than 11.5 lakh doses since January 16 when the vaccination drive started in the country.

More than 2200 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the state on Sunday.

 Seven districts in the state have positivity rate more than 10 per cent.

 The state is under Covid-19 lockdown for over a month now. The lockdown has been extended till June 8.
