Lauding the Uttar Pradesh government for its efforts to curb the coronavirus, the Opposition in the state thanked Yogi Adityanath for convening the all-party meet and assured the party’s support on the measures to tackle Covid-19 pandemic.
At an all-party meeting, chaired by Governor Anandiben Patel, to discuss the surge in covid-19 cases in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday thanked the opposition parties for their assurance of support.
Presiding over the meeting, the governor lauded CM Yogi Adityanath’s proactive approach in handling the situation arising out of sudden increase in number of people being infected by covid. Not only the governor, but BSP and Congress representatives also praised the government on the handling of the pandemic situation, a press release issued by the government said.
Congress MP Suhail Ansari while praising the government for successfully controlling the first wave said “We all expect the government and the officials to control the current wave with the same success as was done during the first phase.”
BSP leader Lalji Verma also reportedly thanked and expressed faith in CM Yogi Adityanath’s strategy to contain the pandemic.
