Punjab Police gave go-ahead even as protestors had massed on the road

It’s now claimed that Punjab Police gave go ahead to prime minister Narendra Modi’s cavalcade while protestors were already on the designated route which led to India’s top executive being left stranded on the road in Punjab on January 5.

As per the timeline accessed by Republic TV, the Punjab Police gave all clear for the road journey at 11 a.m to SPG even though crowd-protestors were massing up on the road from 10.30 a.m onwards.

Thereafter, Modi’s cascade left for Hussainiwala at 11.08 a.m.

The SPG officers were taken by surprise at the blockade and the video in public circulation shows that they had swung into combat mode with fingers on their arms.

further, for almost 2.5 hours, Punjab Police gave no signal of road blockade or protests to SPG.

By the time the PM’s motorcade reached the Ferozepur flyover, the blockade had been in on for over two hours with no Punjab Police action or intimation to SPG.
