Actor Deepika Padukone has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today. It has got her husband Ranveer Singh anxious. He has now formally asked the central drug-agency if he could be present during his wife’s questioning on Saturday.
Deepika was earlier said to be questioned today but now it has been put off to Saturday.
Deepika arrived in Mumbai from Goa where she was shooting for Shakun Batra’s film with Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She was accompanied by her actor-husband Ranveer Singh.
In his application to the NCB, Ranveer Singh has stated that Deepika sometimes suffers from anxiety and gets panic attacks.
Ranveer has said he knows he couldn’t be present at the time of his wife’s questioning but all the same has requested for the same as he is a “law-abiding citizen.”
However, no decision has been taken on his appeal by the NCB yet.
