Sardesai tweets fake news on Pranab’s death: Twitteratis take him to cleaners





Rajdeep Sardesai tweeted his condolence on the “fake news” of death of former President Pranab Mukherjee before hastily apologising to his followers.

“My deep deep apologies for failing for fake news being circulated on Pranab Mukherjee passing away. I am deeply distraught for failing for this fake news. It was unprofessional of me to not reconfirm it before tweeting. Apologies to all..and prayers with the family.”

Mukherjee has lately kept the nation worried on his health. First it was learnt that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. Then came a flurry of news which said that he was being put on ventilator.
