Sourav Ganguly suffers a heart-attack; admitted to hospital





Sourav Ganguly, president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly, suffered a heart attack on Saturday and has been admitted to the hospital.

It has also been understood that Ganguly, who is one of the finest servants of Indian cricket, will need to get an angioplasty by evening, as per TimesNow.

Ganguly is said to have complained of uneasiness in Kolkata following which he was rushed to the Woodlands Hospital. He was working out at his home gym when he started feeling uneasy. An official word from the doctors attending him is yet to come. Initial suggestions from sources, however, confirm that Ganguly is stable but would need to undergo a procedure by evening.

Ganguly has been the president of the BCCI in October 2019. Initially, the position was allotted to him only for 9 months but the Covid-19 situation saw his stay being extended. Dada, as he is profoundly been referred to by his fans, was one of India’s most successful Test and ODI captains.
