Temple priest burnt alive in Rajasthan; name 6 in dying statement





A temple priest has been burnt alive in Rajasthan, the district being Karauli, some 177km from the state capital of Jaipur.

The priest, Babu Lal Vaishnav, in his dying statement said six people poured petrol on his bales of bajra (millet) which were lying at the dispute site and set it on fire.

He also claimed they had poured petrol on him and set him on fire.

Suffering burn injuries, the victim was rushed to Jaipur’s SMS hospital where he died on Thursday evening.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the said video, the priest can be seen having burn injuries all over his body as he sat on a hospital bed. He can also be heard crying in pain.
