Two Congress leaders announce bounty on Wasim Rizvi, now a Hindu

Wasim Rizvi, now a Hindi and Congress leader Rashed Khan

After former Shia Waqf Board chief Wasim Rizvi converted to Hinduism by renouncing Islam, two Telangana Congress leaders, Feroz Khan and Rashed Khan announced bounties of Rs 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh on his head respectively.

Alleging that Rizvi has been disrespecting Islam for the last eight months, Rashed Khan also made the comment that he would give Rs 25 lakhs to anyone who decapitates Wasim Rizvi.

“We don’t care what religion he follows. India is secular, anyone can follow any faith. We respect all religions. But he should not disrespect us. If he does that, we can kill him,” Khan said.

“Eight months ago, I had said that I’ll give an award of Rs 25 lakh to whoever cuts off the head of Waseem Rizvi. This was because he had been disrespecting the Prophet for eight months continuously. If someone does it once by mistake, I can understand. But not this. If someone said this about Hindu gods, our Hindu brothers would also react like this.” Khan added.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Rashed is spewing venom against Rizvi and calling for his beheading. Earlier this month, he has also called for a bandh in Telangana against Rizvi.

Rizvi had announced that he would be accepting Sanatan Dharma this month and ever since he reverted to Hinduism and became Jitendra Narayan Swami, the Islamists have also been expressing their anger on social media. They claimed that Jitendra Narayan Swami had been thrown out of Islam and even called him a ‘kafir.’
