Watch; Mason sets owner’s Mercedes on fire on unpaid labour in Noida

In a shocking incident reported from Noida in Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, a labourer set afire his owner’s Mercedes car after he was upset over unpaid dues. The car owner reportedly failed to pay his wages in full.

Reports suggest that the man had installed tiles at the house of Mercedes owner but didn’t get full wages. He allegedly decided to take the revenge by burning the luxury car of the man who hired him to lay the tiles. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The incident reported took place in Sadarpur under Sector 39 police station limits in Noida, according to a repot in India Today.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras. The CCTV footage showed the man arrived on bike and poured petrol on the vehicle and lit the match. He later fled the spot. Police said they have arrested the accused labour. Cops said further investigation is underway in the case. The accused labourer has been identified as Ranveer. He was arrested after a complaint was filed by the Mercedes owner, report in India TV said.

Netizens have given mixed reaction about the incident. While some chastised the owner of the Mercedes for exploiting the poor labourer and not clearing his dues, others slammed the labourer for taking the law into his own hands and committing a crime.
