Yogi to launch campaign to connect with 30 million people in UP

To connect with more than 30 million people, chief minister Yogi Adityanath will launch Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) “sujhaav aapka, sankalp hamara (your suggestions, our commitment)” campaign in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

Under the campaign, the party will have an ‘akanksha peti’ (aspiration box) at its events and offices to encourage people to offer suggestions for its manifesto.

Uttar Pradesh minister Suresh Khanna, who heads the “sankalp patra” committee, said the party would place bins across all the 403 assembly segments in the state to help people drop in their suggestions.

Sharing the details of the campaign, Suresh Khanna said, “Besides, we will also hold dialogues across the state with different groups and collect their feedback. Suggestions could also be sent to us on phone, mail or on whatsapp too.”

He further added that “The manifesto will represent the aspirations of every community living in the state. We have fulfilled many of their expectations and we will take the story of growth further.”
