Amit Shah rounds up his TN trip by catching up with Gurumurthy





Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ended his two-day trip to Tamil Nadu and caught up with senior RSS leader S Gurumurthy and the its cadres before returning to Delhi.

A chartered accountant and commentator who has long had the ear of leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Gurumurthy is a leading figure in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Amit Shah’s visit has served as a kickstart to BJP’s campaign in Tamil Nadu. Shah also addressed party workers as well as give his strategy to the state BJP to crack the politically elusive state ahead of next year’s assembly election.

In a massive boost to the saffron party ahead of the Tamil Nadu 2021 polls, The ruling AIADMK will continue its alliance with the BJP. Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and his deputy O Pannerselvam have confirmed. Tamil Nadu goes to the polls in about six months.

In another boost to the party, MK Alagiri’s loyalist KP Ramalingam has joined the Ramalingam has said that he had already earlier informed Alagiri about his plan.

“I have close relations with MK Alagiri. I will try to bring him to Bharatiya Janata Party, said Ramalingam.

Ramalingam said that he decided to leave DMK as he doesn’t possess the heart to accept anyone as the party chief after Kalaignar Karunanidhi.
