Hindus hit streets in Chittagong in big numbers on Islamist attacks

In one video, the people of Chittagong are seen hitting the streets in protest against Islamist attacks on Hindus and their places of worship in Bangladesh.

Several Hindu organisations, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bharat Sevasram Sangha, Sankar Math, Gauriya Math, Bajrang Dal, women’s wing of RSS, held protests outside the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Guwahati, condemning the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh during the Durga Puja festival.

They set fire to Bangladesh’s national flag, attempted to cross the international border between India and Bangladesh, and called for a boycott of Bangladeshi goods.

The Hindu organisations said, “This is very unfortunate to see the kind of inhuman behaviour towards the minority Hindus of Bangladesh by the majority of the country. We request to ensure the citizenship rights of Hindus in Bangladesh who are also the son of the soil of Bangladesh.”

After taking out a massive rally in Karimganj district, the protesters gathered at the bank of Kushiyara and suddenly, some people jumped into the river. They said, “We are going to Bangladesh to protect the Hindus there.” However, border security forces stopped them and requested not to do this again.
