India’s biggest icons rise in the hour of global conspiracy: Leave India to Indians





Some of India’s biggest icons, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, amongst them, have risen in support of Republic India in response to Global Conspiracy against India, on the pretext of farmers protest, accidentally leaked by activist Greta Thunberg on Wednesday. 

Taking to Twitter, the batting maestro urged the citizens to shift their focus on the efforts made by the Indian government and opined that external forces can be spectators but not participants. “India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation,” Tendulkar said in a tweet. 

Tendulkar’s tweet had taken India by storm. It was being liked by lakhs of his follower. By evening, was joined by current and former cricketers like India captain Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Rudra Pratap Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, and Anil Kumble, who tweeted that India is “more than capable of taking her internal issues to amicable solutions”.

Indian team’s coach Ravi Shastri tweeted: “Agriculture is a very important part of the machinery of the Indian economic system. Farmers are the backbone of any country’s ecosystem. This is an internal matter which I’m sure will be resolved through dialogue. Jai Hind!”

In her tweet, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar said, “India is a glorious nation and we all Indians stand with our heads held high. As a proud Indian, I have faith that any issues or problems that as a country we face; we are fully equipped to resolve them amicably, keeping the interest of our people in mind. Jai Hind.”

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn tweeted “Don’t fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies. It’s important to stand united at this hour w/o any infighting #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda”

While Indian media and film personality Karan Johar tweeted that the country should not “let anyone divide us. #IndiaTogether”, the Media executive and soap opera queen, Ekta Kapoor, joined in with: “Let’s stand united against any propaganda. Together we can and we will!”

Badminton star Saina Nehwal also came into support and said that farmers are an important part of the country and “the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident.”

Kangana Ranaut, who is known for putting her views strongly and boldly on Twitter called out Rihanna and termed her a fool. 

Mega Bollywood star Akshay Kumar was forthright in his own views: “Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences.”

Meanwhile, there were few busy who remained critical of the government and lauded the pop star Actors Richa Chadha, Swara Bhasker, Taapsee Pannu, Ali Fazal, US-based Indian filmmaker Ritesh Batra and filmmaker Hansal Mehta, Top Carnatic vocalist T M Krishna were few among them. 

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh even went a step ahead and released an entire song dedicated to Rihanna.
