Indian army hoists tricolour in Galwan Valley, debunks Chinese propaganda

The Indian Army  proudly hoists the tricolour in the Galwan Valley on New Year’s Day and debunked the Chinese propaganda video which claimed that People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troops had unfurled the Chinese flag in Galwan Valley on New Year.

Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju shared the photos of Indian soldiers through his account and informed how he spent time with Assam Regiment & Arunachal Scouts.

Army sources had stated earlier that the PLA troops had celebrated the New Year at Galwan Valley and unfurled their national flag, but this was done well away from the demilitarised zone. 

The spot was no way near the bend of the river, where the Indian Army and PLA soldiers had clashed in June 2020, leading to the death of 20 Indian soldiers and several Chinese troops.
