Kamala Harris, the Democrat’s vice-presidential candidate, has appointed Indian-American Sabrina Singh as her press secretary. Another stroke to win over Indian-Americans.
Sabrina Singh has also served US state secretary Hillary Clinton in her presidential campaign for 2016 in the past.
She confirmed the news by taking twitter and posting about the same.
She mentioned that she is excited to get back to work and take up the charge as press secretary for Kamala Harris.
She tweeted, “Can’t wait to get to work and win in November!”
Singh has previously headed the press work for two other Democratic presidential candidates as well -New Jersey Senator Cory Booker and former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg.
32-year-old Singh has also been an advisor to Tom Perez, the Chairman of the Democratic National Convention.
Apart from this, she has also been part of various political activities.
She has deep roots in American politics as her grandfather, Sardar JJ Singh, was the head of India League of America that talks about the interest and welfare of the Indian-American community.
