Khalistani terror group “owns up” breaching PM’s security in Punjab

Several senior Supreme Court advocates have received threatening calls from Khalistani terror group Sikhs for Justice. According to the sources, the call contained a pre-recorded message and claimed responsibility for blocking the route of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 5.

The pre-recorded message allegedly said, “You were quiet at the call given for the death of the Sikh farmers. If you help Modi today, this will be the most disgraceful act that would be committed by you. The message is from Sikhs for Justice General Council from the USA and we take the responsibility for blocking Modi in Punjab.”

Manoj Mishra, Vice President SCAORA (Supreme Court Advocates-On- Record Association) mentioned that, so far, over 1000 threat calls have been received by the advocates.

“This is a serious issue. Many advocates have got the threat calls. Many members have told me the same and I personally got the call twice,” the Mishra said.

“While I was in the midst of my argument, I too received such a call” he added.

Lawyer Vishnu Jain confirmed the same and informed that he received two pre-recorded calls at 10:38 AM and 12:30 PM respectively, and was asked not to hear the plea in the Supreme court.

Advocate Deepak Prakash, lawyer at the Supreme Court, also mentioned that the pre-recorded message also held the Modi government for not delivering justice in the 1984 Sikh riots case.

Earlier, farmer groups, which claimed to be protesting against Minimum Support Price (MSP), had said that they were protesting on the PM’s route.

Incidentally, the Supreme Court has appointed a committee to probe the security breach of prime minister’s visit to Punjab on January 5.
