Ludhiana blast case: German police arrests pro-Khalistan terrorist

In the Ludhiana blast case, a pro-Khalistan terrorist, Jaswinder Singh Multani has been arrested by German police. 

According to a report, Multani was picked up by the Federal Police from Erfurt, Germany after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government requested the German authorities to arrest the pro-Khalistan radical who has links to Pakistan, and has been involved in smuggling of arms and ammunition from across the border into Punjab. 

The official said that the Modi Government had contacted the German authorities at the highest diplomatic levels and informed them about the involvement of Multani in a conspiracy to target cities including Mumbai and Delhi.

Also, sources have confirmed that he has been under the scanner for planning to target the financial capital and the national capital. 

For unversed,  Multani is a close associate of Sikh For Justice founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and is reportedly involved in separatist activities.
