Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana’s MLA, T Raja Singh is at the centre of controversy as Facebook has banned his account for violation of Facebook content policies.
The spokesperson of the social media platform, through an email statement, has informed that they have banned the politician’s account as the content posted on the account promotes violence and hate.
Facebook actions came in the backdrop of all the backlash company is facing over their failure in handling extremist content on their platform.
Meanwhile, the BJP leader has already cleared his stance over the matter. He has claimed that his official account was hacked and already blocked in 2018.
On August 16, Raja Singh tweeted a video informing us that many Facebook pages are using his name. He has claimed that he only had one official YouTube and Twitter account.
